
Responsibilities

Oversees/manages all day-to-day activities and operations of the shipping and warehouse staff.

Generate daily pick tickets while reviewing for accuracy.

Inventory control, material acquisition, storage, and distribution.

Assist with shipping and receiving trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching up purchase orders.

Deadline driven, providing accuracy and timeliness of all warehouse job functions.

Work with other departments to determine cause and resolution of short shipments.
-
Maintain and monitor item status in computer for inventory control and levels.
-
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.

Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.

Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures.
Requirements

High-level problem-solving skills.

Work with minimal supervision.

Principles and understanding of inventory control, materials acquisition, storage, and distribution.

Efficiently operate a computer and demonstrate PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Maintains a positive work environment, fosters teamwork, and ensures productivity, accuracy and quality control objectives are met or exceeded.

Understand written instruction and complete appropriate documentation as directed.

Use a logical approach to troubleshooting issues and prioritizing production needs.

Ability to think outside of the box.

Work in a cooperative manner with management, co-workers, internal/external customers, and vendors.

Lift and carry heavy materials up to 75lbs.

Operate pallet jack, forklift, and handle movement of pallets.

Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.

1-2 year’s warehouse/inventory experience required, or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties.
